The Emerald Coast, or Forgotten Coast, of Florida is a collection of jewels along the panhandle at the Gulf of Mexico. From Apalachicola to Ft. Walton the coast is lined with 1860's cotton commerce and fishing towns, quaint master planned villages such as Seaside and Watercolor, and Eglin Air Force Base near Destin.
