Cottonwood Trees of New Mexico series

I spent a good part of the pandemic in northern New Mexico and enjoyed the foliage. After that were ghosts of vibrant Cottonwood trees, so photographed and made this moody encaustic series. Looking back it is reminiscent of the pandemic mood. Bare.
